One of the foundations of our democracy in this country is a dependence on a well-informed electorate.  In order to have a government by the people and for the people, the people need to understand the issues that shape it.

One of our goals at District Lodge 19 is to keep our members informed on all matters related to railroad and Union activities.   We must support each other and participate in any business of our Union or any issue involving District Lodge 19 and the overall railroad industry. The truth is that you should stay informed because the future of the machinists union and District Lodge 19 depends on it.  Become part of the solution for any action that could have ramifications on your career and your life.
